Applying for Membership

operates two tiers of membership; Full and Associate. Full membership offers
the privilege to enter competitions and play at any session excluding Monday
evenings. Associate membership allows you to play on a Monday and Thursday
evening. As an Associate member you are welcome to attend other Club sessions
(not trophy events) as a visitor.
If you are unsure of which type of membership to apply for please consult a member of the Committee. Your application must be signed by a Proposer and a Seconder who should be familiar with item 5 of the Articles of Association. Proposers and Seconders must be prepared to play with the nominee and introduce him/her to members of the Committee. Please note that when applying for Full Membership you should be playing on a Tuesday or Friday evening. |
Once
your application has been received it will be discussed at the next meeting
of the Committee. If unsuccessful then it will be carried forward to the
next and so on. No member of the Committee is required to discuss the progress
of an application – enquiries should be direct to the Secretary.
The committee reserve the right to refuse membership but may invite the applicant to reapply after a six month period Please note that you will be notified when your application has been accepted but not when it has been deferred.
